The Facilities and Gardens

Marion-Warradale Congregation seeks to support uses including worship, cultural, education and training, health, social and recreation, retreats, conferences, weddings and functions.

Not-for-profit community groups, organisations or agencies that provide a service to the community are a priority to hire the facilities and gardens. Private and commercial bookings may also be negotiated.

Facilities include:

Marion – cnr of Church Cres and Township Road, Marion
Marion Activities Hall, Worship Space, Heritage Chapel, Chapel Hall, several small interview/meeting rooms, and garden spaces.

Halls

Marion Hall

Up to 250 seated
200 m² of floor space with ramp access and entrance foyer
Floor covering – carpet tiles (over a timber base) Glass Bi Fold doors that open onto a grassed area Equipment:
Male, female and accessible toilet with change table
Large Kitchen – Well furnished with 1 electric stove top, 2 ovens, fridge,
2 microwaves, commercial dishwasher, urns
Hall: 10 trestle tables & 140 chairs,
Hire times:
Monday to Friday 9am to 10pm
Saturday & Sundays 9am to 10pm

Marion Heritage Chapel Hall

Up to 60 seated
60 m² of wooden floor space

Accessible onto a grassed area

Equipment:
Kitchenette, microwave, urn, data projection, amplifier, 2 tables, 40 chairs
Access to adjacent small meeting/interview room
Hire times:
Monday to Friday 9am to 10pm
Saturday & Sundays 9am to 10pm.

Worship Spaces

Marion Heritage Chapel

Up to 80 seated in movable pews on a wooden floor
An attractive worship space with excellent acoustics and ambiance for
worship, acoustic concerts, rehearsals, meetings
Equipment:
Access to adjacent Chapel Hall and kitchenette

Marion Worship Space

Up to 150 raked pew seating, on a carpeted floor, with foyer access and
including 2 small meeting/ interview rooms
Worship/performance space suitable for worship, concerts, performance,
rehearsals, conferences.

Equipment: PowerPoint, large reverse projection screen, sound system, fully accessible facilities
Access to male, female and accessible toilets with a change table.

Rates & Charges

Hire rates below are for Non Profit organisations

(All prices are inclusive of GST.)

  • Marion Hall from $39.00 per hour
  • Green Room from $20.00 per hour
  • Marion Heritage Chapel Hall from $26.50 per hour
  • Small meeting/interview rooms from $13.50 per hour

Worship Centres

  • Marion Worship Space from $39.00 per hour
  • Marion Heritage Chapel from $30.00 per hour

 

  • Access to outside garden spaces for weddings, photographs and special events by negotiation.

Different rates apply for private bookings and commercial organisations. Rates are a starting point for negotiation depending on needs, disadvantage, increased booking hours, possible other contributions, income share, and deposits/advance payments for regular rental/licence agreements.

There may be also negotiated fees for use of some equipment.

Bond & Key Hire
A bond of $150 or more depending on the Event, may be payable by hirers with payment required to confirm the booking. Bond will be refunded subject to satisfactory inspection.

This includes a $50 key deposit which will be refunded when
keys are returned. The Bond is non-refundable if the event is cancelled
within 2 weeks prior to the booked date.

Bond, Key hire and Cancellation Policy will form part of the agreement.
